This piece has a special story - named “Too Much Fun” this piece was headed to an art festival when I was clearly having too much fun putting on hanging hardware and stabbed a screwdriver through the canvas. Needless to say, she didn’t make it to that show. I adored this little being and couldn’t part with her, so rather than cutting it up or tossing it out, I painstakingly patched the hole (there’s a tiny black heart patch on the back), and reworked the background texture and paint. While the “imperfection” isn’t visible to the viewer, I love knowing that it’s buried under the surface.
